Pilot terms
Simple terms for using Dragonfly during the pilot.
Dragonfly is a beta/pilot product for invited families, teachers, and supervised groups. These terms are written to set expectations for the pilot and will be updated before broader release.
Adult-managed kid use
A parent, guardian, teacher, or group leader manages kid use during the pilot. Kids should use Dragonfly only with adult permission and supervision appropriate for the setting.
Beta product
Dragonfly may change, pause, or stop during the pilot. Features, account flows, review tools, and availability may be adjusted as we learn from supervised testing.
No emergency or safety use
Do not use Dragonfly as an emergency, safety, medical, navigation, hazard-warning, or location-tracking service. Adults remain responsible for outdoor supervision and real-world safety.
Uploads and appropriate use
Dragonfly is for photos of plants, animals, fungi, and other organisms. Do not upload harmful, inappropriate, private, illegal, or intentionally misleading content. Do not photograph people as the subject of an observation.
Adults may contact support if a photo, account, or observation should be removed during the pilot.
No public social network features
Dragonfly does not provide public kid profiles, public chat, direct messages, follower counts, or kid-to-kid free text in the pilot. Observation sharing is intended to stay inside the supervised family, classroom, or group context.
Account removal during the pilot
During the pilot, accounts can be removed by contacting support@dragonfly-app.net. Some linked cleanup may require operator follow-up while deletion workflows and retention rules are finalized.
